Matt's hat can be seen hanging on the bottom peg inside the office door.  This is a rarity.

After Matt sends his buckskin  galloping back to town with Trevitt tied sideways on his back, he rides into Stobo's camp on Trevitt's horse, yet Stobo takes no notice of it.  WT?
